BHBD Blowout Rundborste

The perfect blowout is what most people want to achieve. But how do you do it? Us at BHBD have developed a guide for how to get the best looking blowout, of course with the help of BHBD Hero Mist and BHBD Round Brush

1. Quick blowout - for those in a hurry

Sometimes things have to be done quickly - you don't have time to stand around styling each section for ages. Here's your quick guide to an effective blowout:

  • Towel dry your hair as much as possible.
  • Apply a quick-drying spray - some formulas make your hair dry faster.
  • Use the blowdryer on the highest setting and blow dry your hair.
  • Move your hands through your hair while blow-drying so that the heat is evenly distributed.

Bonus: Want some texture? Roll loops around your finger while blowing - perfect for natural waves!

⭐️ Tip: Hero Mist from BHBD adds both shine and protection when blow-drying - perfect if you have natural hair, wigs or hair extensions that need extra care.

2. Blowout with round brush - maximum volume!

Want that airy, maxed-out volume that lasts for days? Here's how to do a blowout with a round brush to build fullness:

  • Wash your hair with volumizing products.
  • Blow dry your hair to about 50% dry before styling.
  • Apply volumizing products where you want the most lift - like on the crown and around the face.
  • Use a round brush to lift the roots and separate the hair - the air goes in between!
  • Blow dry upside down for even more volume.
  • When hair is completely dry: apply root-lift and texture spray.

⭐️ Pro tip: The round brush is your best tool to get volume from the bottom up - choose a bigger brush for longer hair and a smaller one for shorter.

3. Blowout for a shiny and frizz-free style:

Shine is the key to healthy and beautiful hair. With the right technique and tools, it's easy to achieve a shiny blowout with a round brush:

  • Blow dry your hair until it's 80% dry.
  • Work with thin strands - the key to shine!
  • Roll your hair with a round brush and point the blow dryer downwards in the direction of the hair strand.
  • Do you have fine hair or frizz? Apply spray wax on a brush and gently comb over.
  • Finish with shine spray.

⭐️ Don't forget that BHBD's Shine Tone works as a shine booster - especially important for those who want to freshen up their color!

4. Classic blowout with romantic curls

Want that classic “blow out” look with flowing lengths? Here's how to do it:

  • Blow dry your hair until 80% dry.
  • Divide your hair into at least two sections - top hair and bottom hair.
  • Using a round brush, blow-dry one strand at a time.
  • Blow dry your hair backwards using the round brush for an open, fresh look.
  • For a curl effect: let hair cool in the brush or use cold air.
  • Finish with texture spray and shine spray.

⭐️ Perfect for both natural hair and for revitalizing your extra hair, wig or hair extensions.

How to choose (and use) the right round brush for your blow out

Choosing the right round brush makes a huge difference to the end result. Here's what to consider:

  • Short hair: Narrow brush (more precision).
  • Long hair: Large brush (more control), alternatively a narrower one for extra waves.
  • For shine: Choose natural bristles (e.g. hog bristles).
  • For heat effect: Choose ceramic/metal brush - works almost like a curling iron.

 Usage tips:

  • Part your hair and pin back what you're not working on.
  • Roll hair in from the roots and blow dry in the direction of the hair strand.
  • Finish with cold air to “lock in” the styling.
