1. Customs Duties & Import Fees

Because your order is shipped from outside the US, it may be subject to import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. These charges are determined by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and depend on:

The type of products you’re purchasing

The country of manufacture (origin)

Current US import regulations


Who Pays for These Charges?

Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These are not included at checkout and, if applicable, will be collected by the courier upon delivery.


How Are Duties & Taxes Calculated?

Important update: Previously, orders under $800 USD were duty-free under the US “de minimis” rule. However, the US has recently rolled back this exemption for products made in China, even if they are shipped from another country like Sweden.

  • Wig Shampoo och Wig Conditioner - Germany
  • Human hair wigs and all hair extensions, BHBD Brushes - China
  • Other products not listed above - China

Some couriers like DHL, UPS, and FedEx may also charge a brokerage fee for handling customs clearance.

What Happens If Customs Charges Apply?

If customs charges are assessed, the courier will notify you for payment before delivery.

If duties go unpaid, your package may be held, delayed, or returned.

 

2. VAT (Value Added Tax) – Does It Apply to US Orders?

We do not charge VAT (Value Added Tax) on orders shipped to the US. Prices shown on our website are exclusive of VAT, as VAT only applies to orders within the EU.

3. Delivery Process & Timelines

We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible.

Estimated shipping time: Standard shipping: 7–14 business days

Tracking your order: Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email to follow its journey.

Possible delays: Please note that customs processing can occasionally cause delays. If your tracking shows “Held at Customs,” check your email or contact the courier for any required actions.

4. What’s Included at Checkout?

Product price + shipping fee

Not included at checkout: import duties, taxes, or courier brokerage fees (if applicable)

Because of recent US customs updates, Chinese-made products may now be subject to import duties even on orders under $800 USD.

5. Return Policy – What Happens If You Need to Return an Item?

Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable once paid. If you refuse a shipment due to unexpected fees, the return shipping cost and any additional charges will be deducted from your refund.

Example: If you receive an order and decide to return it, you’ll need to cover the return shipping costs. If you’ve already paid customs duties, those are non-refundable through us, though you may be able to apply for a refund from US Customs.

Q: How will I know if I need to pay customs fees?

A: The courier will contact you if payment is required before delivery.

Q: What should I do if my package is stuck in customs?

A: Check your email or tracking number for any requests from the courier. You may need to provide additional information or pay customs fees.

A: Yes, but the package will be returned to us. Return shipping costs and any handling fees will be deducted from your refund.
