Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Returning an order should be simple. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about your right of withdrawal, refunds and how to return your order.


Your Right of Withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the last item in your order, in accordance with EU law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU).

If your order has not yet been fulfilled, you may also cancel it before shipment.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, submit a return or cancellation request through your account at https://account.bhbd.com within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order.

If the withdrawal period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is automatically extended to the next working day.


Return Conditions

Products should be returned:

  • In their original packaging.
  • In a condition that allows us to assess their nature, characteristics and function.

If a product has been handled beyond what is necessary for this purpose, we may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value in accordance with applicable consumer law.


Return Shipping

Sweden

  • Return shipping fee: 39 SEK
  • The return shipping fee of 39 SEK will be deducted from your refund.

European Union (outside Sweden)

  • The customer arranges and pays for return shipping.

Outside the European Union

  • The customer arranges and pays for return shipping.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will process your refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Your refund includes:

  • The full purchase price.
  • The cost of our standard delivery option (if applicable).

Refunds are issued:

  • Within 14 days.
  • Using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

If you have not yet received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your card issuer, as it may take some time before the refund is officially registered.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times may vary.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Haircare & Cosmetic Products

Haircare and cosmetic products may not be eligible for return if they have been used or handled in a way that makes them unsuitable for resale.

Please note: Our haircare products are not sealed. Unused products in resalable condition may therefore still be eligible for return in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Custom Orders

Custom-ordered or made-to-measure products manufactured specifically to your requirements are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal and cannot be returned.


Return Instructions

Sweden

Step 1 – Submit your return request

Visit https://account.bhbd.com or click Account in the store menu.

Step 2 – Log in

  • Enter your email address.
  • Click Continue.
  • Open the email from us and copy the six-digit verification code.
  • Return to the webshop and enter the verification code.

If you cannot access your account, please contact us at info@bhbd.com to exercise your right of withdrawal.

Step 3 – Select your order

  • Select the order you wish to return.
  • Select the products you would like to return.
  • Choose a return reason.
  • Add a note if needed.
  • Click Request Return.

You will receive an email confirming that we have received your return request.

Step 4 – Prepare your return

If shipping is required, you will receive:

  • Return instructions.
  • A return shipping label (where applicable).

Please:

  • Pack the products securely.
  • Include the original packing slip.
  • Attach the return label to the parcel.
  • Drop off the parcel at the appropriate postal service.

Step 5 – Refund

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will process your refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.


Returns within the European Union (outside Sweden)

Customers outside Sweden but within the European Union follow the same return process.

Please note:

  • We do not provide return shipping labels.
  • You are responsible for arranging your own return shipment.
  • You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
  • Returns must be sent using a trackable shipping service.
  • Please email the tracking number to info@bhbd.com.
  • Include the original packing slip inside the parcel.

International Returns (Outside the European Union)

Customers outside the European Union follow the same return process.

Please note:

  • You are responsible for arranging your own return shipment.
  • You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
  • Returns must be sent using a trackable shipping service.
  • Please email the tracking number to info@bhbd.com.
  • Include the original packing slip inside the parcel.

If your return qualifies for duty-free re-entry into Sweden, please include:

  • Export documentation proving the item was originally shipped from Sweden (such as the original invoice or export document).
  • A Return Declaration clearly stating that the parcel contains returned goods.

Responsibility During Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for the returned goods until they have been received by BHBD.

Please ensure that your products are securely packaged to prevent damage during transport.


Complaints & Warranty

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bhbd.com and include photographs together with a description of the issue.

We handle complaints in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

Approved complaints will be repaired, replaced or refunded, depending on the circumstances.
