How to Apply Your BHBD Hair Topper Full Crown

Trim the lace before first use

If this is your first time using your BHBD Hair Topper – Signature Base, the lace needs to be trimmed first if it has not already been customized. Carefully trim it in a zigzag pattern, leaving a few millimetres for a natural-looking result.

Start by gently brushing through your BHBD topper using a BHBD Paddle Brush. Begin at the lengths and work your way up to minimize unnecessary wear and keep the hair smooth.

Create a parting in the topper based on your desired result.

1. Open the clips
Open all clips, one at a time.

2. Position the topper
Place the lace at your hairline and lightly hold the front for better control.

3. Secure the clips in the correct order
Start with the clip at the center back.
Then attach the clips at the front on the right and left side.
Finish by securing the clips at the back on the right and left side.

4. Check the fit
Make sure the topper feels comfortable and lies flat against the scalp.

5. Secure the lace if needed
For extra hold at the front, you can use BHBD wig tape if needed.

6. Styling

Style as desired. Avoid excessive heat styling, as it may shorten the lifespan of your topper. Always use BHBD Hero Mist for heat protection and do not exceed 185°C.

Change the parting occasionally to maintain the hand-tied knots and extend the longevity of the topper.
