Leighton Meester Hair
“The bold metallic elements of Leighton’s Miu Miu gown called for a softer counterpoint, so the hair was kept feminine and romantic, striking the perfect balance of modern glamour and elegance. I started out with a smooth blowout using a large round brush, then went back in with a curling iron to add gentle texture and dimension. Next, I divided the hair into two sections—ears up and ears down—and added a few BHBD tape-in extensions to give the look fullness and additional texture.Each ponytail was twisted into a soft knot, leaving out wispy, undone pieces, and secured with French hairpins for a clean yet effortless finish.The final result was a modern romantic updo—polished but relaxed, and the perfect counterpoint to the bold glamour of the gown.”
Kirsten Dunst Hair
" Effortless elegance was the guiding inspiration for Kirsten’s Golden Globes look. Her Tom Ford emerald gown featured a dramatic plunging back, so we chose a swept-up style to highlight the striking details. After blow-drying, I sectioned the hair and added invisible BHBD invisible Balayage hair extensions in color 9NG/11N. These allowed for extra fullness and texture, not to mention a perfect color match. After securing the extensions, I curled each section using a large barrel curling iron away from the face. The final step was to softly gather the hair back and up into a beautiful chignon, pinning each section while leaving some face-framing strands out around the face. The finished look was soft with a romantic finish. "
