Blonde, brown and rosa wigs

Do you know the story behind the pink ribbon and breast cancer awareness month?

The pink ribbon is the international symbol representing the fight against breast cancer. It was first introduced in 1992 by the cosmetics company Estée Lauder in the USA. Pink Month, which occurs in October, has become a symbol of the battle against breast cancer. Its purpose is to raise awareness and collect funds for research and support for those affected by this disease. Learn more about the pink ribbon on the Bröstcancerförbundets website.

Hair loss can be an emotional journey

Hair is not just a part of our appearance; it is also a significant part of our identity and self-esteem. For many individuals undergoing cancer treatment, hair loss is often one of the most visible and emotionally challenging aspects of the illness. As hairstylists, we are committed to helping our clients feel beautiful and confident throughout their journey.

A client's lovely review of her wig:

”I am so impressed by the quality, and the wig looks so natural. No one can tell it’s a wig. I receive so many compliments and truly feel secure wearing it. Sara and Caroline are incredibly sweet, engaged throughout the process, and very helpful. I wish everyone experiencing hair loss for various reasons could have the opportunity to get help from BHBD. Thank you, Sara and Caroline; both you and your wigs are truly one of my saviors in the fight against breast cancer.”
