Care Guide
Washing
Wash your synthetic wig regularly to keep the fibers soft, fresh, and comfortable to wear. For most people, washing 1–2 times per week is sufficient.
- Brush through the wig gently before washing.
- Soak in cool water (20–30°C) with shampoo.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Soak the lengths in cool water with conditioner for approximately 5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow the wig to air dry on a wig stand.
Care Tips
- Always use cool to lukewarm water.
- Always allow the wig to air dry.
- Brush gently, starting from the ends and working upwards.
- Use low heat only (max 150°C) together with heat protection.
- Store the wig on a wig stand when not in use.
Avoid
- Avoid high heat or direct heat sources such as ovens, grills, fireplaces, steam and heat lamps.
- Pulling, rubbing, or rough handling.
- Sleeping in the wig.
- Chlorine or salt water.
- Heavy styling products that can cause build-up.

Receiving a requisition from your county council means you are entitled to compensation for a specific part of the wig's cost. We are pleased to announce that we can finally receive requisitions from some of Sweden's county councils. We work hard to receive requisitions throughout all regions of Sweden and have so far approved in:

How do I use my requisition?
Purchase the wig you want on our website. After your purchase you to send us your original requisition along with a note with the information we have specified down below. After your requisition has been approved and we have received compensation from your county council. We will transfer the amount to your bank account. Keep in mind that it will take at least 45 days from that we have received your requisition for you to get money back.
Important! Make sure you have not used this year's requisition already! And that you send all information we need to process your payment back.

How does the payment work?
You need to order your wig as usual on our website. Then you send the original requisition to us, which we then take care of. As soon as we have received the money back from your county, we will transfer the requisition amount to the bank you have.

What is included in the requisition for BHBD webshop?
- The amount you are entitled to use for a wig purchase. All counties have different sums.
What is not included when using requisition at BHBD webshop?
- The wigcut
- If you want to have it cut in by a hairdresser who also provides a haircut, we have hairdressers to recommend. The individual cost is between you and the hairdresser!
- The wig consultation costs 1000sek but if you buy a wig after your consultation we will reduce the wig price with 1000sek.
- Return visits, but you are always more than welcome to have close contact with us in the meantime!

Will this synthetic wig look natural?
Yes or synthetic wigs looks really natural because we have used Japanese fiber in ours for a natural look.
And our wigs come with a natural lace front and hand tied nots.
Can I style this synthetic wig?
Yes you can. For best result use heat protection and low heat, around 120-130 degrees with slow motions.
Never use over 150 degrees in your synthetic wig.
How long does this synthetic wig last?
With daily use, the wig typically lasts 4–6 months. With gentle handling or by rotating between multiple wigs, it can last longer. Remember: the more care and attention you give, the longer your wig will stay beautiful. By following our care guidelines, you maximize its lifespan and get the most out of your wig.
How do I wash a synthetic wig?
Washing your wig regularly is important, but how you wash it is even more important. Only wash the Synthetic Wig in cold water 20-30 degrees with our BHBD Deep Cleansing Shampoo and BHBD Deep Conditioner in the zink or a boil. The need for washing varies from person to person depending on usage; we recommend at least 1–2 times per week. Wash when the hair or cap feels dry or dirty. Always follow our step-by-step washing guide for best results.
Wash gently and avoid rubbing or tangling the hair. Many people notice that their wig needs to be washed more frequently during the summer than in winter, as heat and perspiration affect the wig more.
Is this wig comfortable for everyday wear?
Yes of course. The wig comes with a soft and flexible cap construction that feels very comfortable against the head and it breath very well.
Does this wig come ready to wear?
Yes, more or less. The only thing you need to do before using our Synthetic Wig is to cut the lace in the front.
